Oh! My Banana!...

What can we get from bananas?

I had closely observed Robin eats fruits like banana, papaya, and pineapple. These are his favorites. But amongst the three banana is his best. He can consume 2 bunches, the most, in a day. Usually, it's "lakatan" or "tundan". Most of the time, he likes the latter. Lately,  i find it alarming because I can't imagine how Rob devoured with that volume.

From what I heard banana is rich in potassium and it's good for the heart. Basically, that's the notion. To be sure, what I did, I surfed in the "net" to see what nutritive value will he get from the fruit.
Banana is both rich in minerals and vitamins with Potassium having the highest mineral content. Other minerals are Phosporous, Magnesium, Calcium, Sodium, Iron, Selenium, Manganese, Copper, and Zinc. Its vitamin contents, Vitamin A contains the highest and others are Vitamin B1, B2, B6, Niacin, Folate, Pantothenic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Vitamin K. Banana contains small amounts of  other minerals and vitamins too.
With this advisory I was grateful Robin is a banana eater...but...it should be in "moderation".  More than enough of anything is not good  for the body.

Robin draw out several lessons out of his eating. Like.....

When asked, "What's the color of  banana?, he immediately says,"lellow" for"yellow".  Upon peeling off the fruit, slowly, he says, "banana peel". Afterwards, he'll threw the peel in the garbage bin and without batting an eyelash, he says, "fenk you" for "thank you". He hardly pronounced the "th", but instead says "f".  After his "fenk you",  if nobody replied "welcome"? voluntarily he answers,"you're welcome!" with a high and low voice inflection of the word "welcome". Very funny!

In the house banana becomes our regular meal afters. For Robin, it can be before or after meals and in-betweens.

Happy eating ;)
